Team Time...

This is the retreat conference room where we had meetings, worshiped together, and played games. Each day's worship was led by Jeremiah and Marcie Olson from Grace Community Church in Goshen, IN. No, they weren't live, but they actually recorded several worship CDs for missionaries in foreign countries to use at events like this - it worked great, guys! Thanks so much!

This morning's meeting focused more on our priorities and efforts to love the Lord our God with all heart, soul, mind, strength, and relationships - it went well and we had some great discussions! The guys group I got to participate in included Kevin High, Dave Martin, Gary McCaman, and Steve Bailey. I've enjoyed getting to know all of those guys a little bit better.

Overall, we had two nights of teaching and reflecting on Scriptures, and then breakout sessions and discussions on each following morning. On one hand, we were bummed to lose a day of our retreat time thanks to "the airline whose name I will not mention" - but I think it also gave the team some time to relax together before we got there!
